Bethany School Puttur Girls’ Kabaddi Team Selected for Mysore Division Level

In the district-level 14-year-old girls’ Kabaddi tournament held on September 15, 2025, organized jointly by the Dakshina Kannada District Panchayat, School Education Department, Deputy Director’s Office (Administration), Block Education Officer’s Office Bantwal, and PM Shri Government High School (RMSA) Vitla, the girls’ team from Bethany English Medium School in Darbe, Puttur, showcased exceptional performance and secured the first place. This achievement has earned them a spot in the Mysore division level.

Players Juena Dazzle Cutinha and Hardik P. received the “Best All-Rounder” and “Best Rider” awards, respectively, playing a crucial role in the team’s victory.

With this win, the Bethany School Kabaddi team from Puttur has secured the opportunity to represent Dakshina Kannada district at the Mysore division level. Under the guidance of Sr Anitha Tressy the headmistresses and  Mr Balakrishna Rai Pordal provided excellent training to the team.
