PTA Meeting at Bethany Puttur

The Parents’ Meeting for the academic year 2026–27 was held successfully at Bethany English Medium School, Darbe, Panglai, Puttur, on Saturday, 20 June 2026, with enthusiastic participation from parents and staff.

The chief resource person, Shri Naveen Kumar K Principal of BA ITI, Tumbe, Bantwal, addressed the gathering on the vital role of parents in the holistic development of children. He stressed the importance of nurturing human values from an early age and maintaining a healthy balance between discipline and affection. Encouraging parents to prepare their children to face life’s challenges with courage and confidence, he highlighted the need for moderation in parenting.

During the programme, Shri Raghunath Rai was felicitated in appreciation of his dedicated service as the Vice President of the Parent-Teacher Association for the 2024-2025 and 2025–2026 academic year. Students who secured distinctions and top scoreres in the 2025–2026 SSLC examinations were also honoured for their outstanding academic achievements.

School Headmistress Sr Anitha briefed the parents on the school’s academic activities, student discipline, and other important guidelines. 

The Parent-Teacher Executive Committee for the academic year 2026–2027 was unanimously elected under the guidance of School Sr Prashanthi BS the Correspondent. Ismail Shafi was elected as the PTA Vice President, while Shri Ramachandra Bhat was chosen as the Child potection Committee Vice President.

The programme commenced with a warm welcome by Smt Lilly. Smt. Greeshma and Smt. Shwetha compered the proceedings, and Smt. Soumya proposed the vote of thanks. The meeting concluded on a positive note with the active participation of the teaching staff and a large gathering of parents
